Slice of Scotland is a collection of digital prints created by John McNeill. The pictures were mostly taken in Orkney but also in the Scottish Borders, East Lothian and the Central Highlands of Scotland.
The aim of 'slices' was to replicate the way we see our surroundings, we don't just see the foreground, the middle distance and the horizon in isolation, our visual experiences are a fluctuating combination of them all.
Slices has been exhibited in Orkney, the Scottish Borders and West Lothian and have been bought by people the length and breadth of the country, from Orkney to Milton Keynes. I hope you enjoy these images and get a sense of how wonderful, magical and varied Scotland can be.
